Graveside services for Mrs. Carlene Johnson McKinnon Ellzey will be held Sunday at 2pm at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Suqualena, MS. Rev. Dennis Coats will be officiating.

Mrs. Ellzey, 85, of Quitman, passed away Thursday at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
She will always be remembered for her love and dedication to her family as well as her dedication to her Lord. Mrs. Ellzey loved working with her flowers and enjoyed watching the hummingbirds that come by for a visit.
She graduated from Collinsville High School and was a graduate of the Meridian Community College LPN program. Mrs. Ellzey was a member of the Suqualena Eastern Star, Macedonia Baptist Church and the Longhorn and Rebel Riding Clubs. She attended Calvary Baptist Church in Quitman.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Charles; daughter Becky McKinnon; grandchildren Christy Lucas, Shawn Smith (Keri), Clint Smith (Brittany), Chrissy Porter, Kyle Porter; great-grandchildren Kayla Cooper, Kelsey Lucas, Kasey Lucas, Kody Lucas, Brooklyn Blakley, Samantha Smith, Maggie Smith, Jessie Jaymes Smith and Sadie Smith. Mrs. Ellzey is also survived by her great great-grandchildren Paisley Cooper, Ryder Cooper, Noah Cooper, Myia Lucas, Mason Lucas, Berkley Lucas; sister Ima Jean Joyner (DeWayne), and sister in law Hazel Johnson along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Oliver and Ethel Johnson; brothers Odell Johnson and Tullus Johnson; sister Ola Mae George; daughter Regina Rigdon and grandchild Justin Ray Scrivner.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Smith, Clint Smith, Kody Lucas, Billy Porter, Kent Joyner and Paul Joyner.
