Funeral services for Myrtice Stokes will be held Sunday, January 20, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home in Union. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Rev. Jackie Strebeck will officiate, with burial following at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Stokes, age 87, of Little Rock, passed away January 16 at Hilltop Manor.

Myrtice was a longtime member of Liberty Baptist Church. She worked for many years at Decatur Shirt Factory.

Myrtice is survived by her daughter, Shirley Koch; granddaughters, Monica Moffett (David) and Frankie Springer (Francis); great-grandchildren, Samantha Moffett, Dylan Moffett, Jonathan Springer, Sarah Springer and Elizabeth Springer; and sisters-in-law, Linda Smith and Carolyn Stokes, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Carl Stokes; parents, Walter and Carrie Huddleston; brother, Wallace Huddleston Sr; and a nephew, Michael Lewis Huddleston.

Pallbearers will be Francis Springer, David Moffett, Neil Knight, Ernest Huddleston, Teddy Stokes and Roger Huddleston. Honorary pallbearers will be Jonathan Springer and Dylan Moffett.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in her honor to the charity of your choice.
