A memorial service for Marie Patrick will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at 3:oo p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home, with Bro. Tim Adams officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Patrick, age 62, of Meridian, passed away December 11 at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Marie was artistic and loved to paint and draw and especially loved antique shopping. She worked hard to take care of her family, making sure everyone was provided for. Many people loved her and some of her children’s friends even called her “Mom”. She will be deeply missed by everyone that was blessed to have been loved by her.
Marie is survived by her husband, Milton Patrick; children, Annie Patrick Graves and Johnathan Patrick and his wife, Leslie; grandchildren, Joseph Patrick, Johnathan Patrick II, Eli Patrick and Samuel Graves; brother, Arthur Mack Lee Jr, and sisters, Linda Lee and Anne Lee Olaveson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Mack and Mary Lee, and sister, Susan Lee Gibson.
Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at stephensfunerals.com.
I send my sincere condolences for your loss. There are comforting promises in the Bible that the time is coming when “all those in the memorial tombs will hear [Jesus’] voice and come out.” (John 5:28,29) Our Loving Heavenly Father, Jehovah God has also promised that “he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more” (Revelation 21:4) May it comfort you and strengthen you to reflect on God’s promises to bring back to life your dear loved one to a beautified earth where she can be reunited with her family, and never have to get sick and die, ever again. (Psalm 37:11,29; Isaiah 33:24)
Marie, my sister, will be missed by many. She was an anchor for her family who must now take what she has taught them and go forward in life. She is now with mom, dad, and Susan, and will watch over her family and guide them from above. She will always be here through her children and grandchildren.
We miss you,
Your sister, Ann
