Mrs. Pearson, age 83, of Union, passed away May 25 at UMMC in Jackson.

Charlene French Pearson, of Conehatta, Mississippi, was born January 25, 1935. She was the youngest sibling to three brothers and one sister. Charlene married Rotchie Leavelle Pearson on December 24, 1954 and together they had three children, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She worked various jobs throughout her life, but was best known for her forty-two year career as a newspaper carrier in the Union area. Charlene loved her community, family, and friends dearly and without a doubt, the feeling was mutual. She always put others before herself and ensured everyone was taken care of. She left this world May 25, 2018 and will be greatly missed by all.

She is survived by her children, Laurie Ann Moore and Robbie Pearson; grandchildren, Christopher (Katharyn) Pearson, Dustin Moore, Jacob (Kristi) Dollar, and Ethan (Megan) Dollar; great-grandchildren, Gabe Dollar, Gage Dollar, Jeremy Dollar, Chloe Dollar and Madison Copes; and son-in-law, Joe Dollar.

She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-two years, Leavelle Pearson; daughter, Alisa Dollar; grandchildren, Jessie and Cheyene Moore, and son-in-law, Mitchell Moore; and parents, Earnest and Minnie French, as well as three brothers and one sister.

Family and friends may leave online condolences at stephensfunerals.com.

Visitation will be held Monday from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
