Charles Samuel Hagan

Funeral services for Charles Hagan will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at 12:00 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home of Union. Bro. Jeff Hancock will officiate. Burial will follow at Union City Cemetery.

Mr. Hagan, age 75, of Union, passed away April 2 at his home.

Charles loved being outdoors, especially spending time fishing at his pond. He will be remembered as a devoted family man who always put his family first.

Charles is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Mary; children, Van Hagan and his wife, Melissa and Justin Hagan; grandchildren, Samantha Gwennell Hagan and Charles Samuel Hagan II; brother, Wayne Hagan and sister, Vivian Moore and Marianne Hancock and brother-in-law, Jerry Dowdle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mark and Nell Hagan.

    I'm so sorry that Charlie died. I am a little older than him, but we played together. I took a ride on a horse of his. I got bucked off. He laughed at that I was laid out on my back in the middle of the pasture, unhurt so it was funny.
    Charlie was my mother's favorite nephew and my favorite cousin.
